Over a single espresso, Tom recounts his journey from becoming a licensed bookmaker at 20, quickly rising to Australia's largest and most profitable on-course bookie by 2008. He leveraged the digital age by launching TomWaterhouse.com in 2010, which led to a successful acquisition by William Hill in 2013. After selling William Hill's Australian arm in 2018, Tom revitalised TomWaterhouse.com as a subscription tipping service before founding Waterhouse VC in 2019. Tom discusses the fund’s strategy and future plans for Waterhouse VC.
